You've provided a lovely overview of Kabbalah. I showed up at this page thinking you might also mention how Kabbalah ties in to the Law of attraction, however, which you don't. It actually does quite nicely. Part of the Kabbalistic creation story involves God contracting and then focusing energy/light through four worlds -- being/inspiration/desire, thinking, feeling, doing/action. Just like what they teach in The Secret, creation happened with a desire or inspiration of what we want to create that becomes focused into a clear thought, which we combine with a feeling of having what we want. We then take inspired action (a step forgotten by the author of The Secret and many of its proponents), and put the creational forces into motion. LOA says simply to combine thought and feelign. The Kabbalistic approach actually is much more detailed and complete.

I enjoy the study of the Kabbalah. I think it is both enlightening and scary. One must reach and touch the light of God carefully. Maybe other religions are safer for the masses, but have a thicker veil covering God and the lights his servants provide. I always want to learn more and go further, but sometimes fearful too. I know the lights are there, but fearful to know too much.
